I don't have much time to write anymore. People ask me "why? what could a little boy like you possibly be doing all day?". Well, those people have no idea!
6.30 - I wake up, stand up in my cot and cry until Mummy or Papa come to get me
7.00 - after lounging with Mummy and Papa in their bed for a bit, Papa dresses me
7.15 - I am having my morning milk in my pushchair downstairs while Mummy and Papa get dressed
8.00 - Breakfast with Mummy
8.30 - Playtime. I am running around downstairs and unpack all my toys for the day
9.30 - Somtimes Mummy and I go away to do something, like swimming or shopping
12.00 - Lunchtime!
13.30 - I am getting ready for a nice nap
15.30 - Waking up from my snooze. Playtime again!
17.15 - Dinner, finally, maybe watching some telly
18.00 - Bathtime. I get very dirty during the day
18.45 - getting dressed for bed and teeth brushing
19.00 - my evening milk makes me very, very, very sleepy...
How dare you, wall, to be in my way. Move it!
It is an outrage! I am not a dangerous animal or anything like that. Still, Mummy and Papa have started keeping me locked up behind bars. What is wrong with them? All I want to do is explore the house a bit, climb up the stairs and stuff like that. What's the problem?
Papa has created a Best of Felix 2005 photo set on Flickr. This includes some of the highlights of my life so far, all in one convenient location. Thanks Papa!
At least that is what Mummy and Papa keep telling me, because I have learned to turn myself from my back on to my front. Hurrah! I did it three times today without any help and also managed to roll back again. Actually it's very easy. And now I try to do it everywhere: in my buggy, on my changing table and in the bath. Papa panics a lot when I try it in the bath or on the changing table. I don't know why. It's fun!
Yes, one proper tooth has come through my gum and I can use it to chew on things or bite into Papa's finger. It is great. Mummy also gives me little baby biscuits to chew, but I am still struggling to get them into my mouth. When I do find my mouth I sometimes shove them in too far and choke. It's all very hard work.
We also went to see Oma Marianne and Opa Hasso in Kiebitzbruch, which is the name of their house. They have four huge dogs. Massive dogs. And they make a lot of noise and bark and jump around but are also quite nice. Opa Hasso is only 2 weeks away from retirement. Then he can sit at home all day and play Sudoku.
Mummy and Papa have taken me to Berlin. We are staying in a nice hotel near the Ku'Damm, the Swissotel. They provided a great little bed for me complete with Teddy! Also a bath with a rubber duck, a bottle warmer, baby-wipes etc. Very nice!
In fact I am so big now that I am already allowed to sit in a big-boy-carseat. Its much, much better. Its very comfy and Mummy and Papa can get me into my seat much easier. Most importantly I am now facing forward, so I can see where we are going. And when I have something to say I can cry and Mummy and Papa can easily turn around and see me. Usually they can't really do anything. But still, its good.
Papa has been busy buying domains and so my blog is now also available via http://felixfoster.com - Hurrah!
It is getting a little colder and I can notice the difference. We still do not have much heating in the house so I am being wrapped up nicely by Mummy and Papa. This is easy since I have the world's largest collection of knitted cardigans. This one here was hand made by Oma Marianne and is very nice indeed.
Mummy took me to get weighed and measured today and I is huge. I am 66cm long, even though I have timy short legs and I weigh 8.7kg which is lots.
We have just returned from a fantastic little holiday in Devon. In fact this was my first real holiday. We stayed in a Landmark Trust cottage right by the sea. Papa has uploaded some more photos to flickr. It was my first time at the beach and at the sea. I really enjoyed it. Papa now wants to learn surfing.
This weekend Mummy and Papa took me to the Yorkshire Dales to meet Mummy's family and friends. Mummy comes from Bolton Abbey. I got to meet lots of new people and was held a lot by strangers which was kind of fun. Mummy and Papa also took me walking which I enjoyed very much. Papa pushed my up the hills in my buggy. It was very bouncy but I did not mind. Papa was very sweaty though. I like the outdoors, especially the wind.
Last week I learned how to smile. It is good fun. Papa has been trying to take a picture of me smiling, but I try not to smile when he is neat the camera. I also like to practice when nobody is around, so I quite often sit around and giggle to myself. Also very good fun.
I am almost 2.5 months old now and life is getting much more interesting. Mummy and Papa sometimes take me out to restaurants and eat while I sleep or giggle to myself.
I am very happy that Papa is back. He says that China is good fun and that there are lots of Chinese people everywhere. Not sure what he expected.
Apparently there are 110 million Chinese tourists who visit Beijing every year. Papa said that about 100 million of them were with him in the Forbidden City when he was visiting it. To make sure they can all drink expensive coffee even there, the wise Chinese people had a Starbuck open right in the Forbidden City.
China stinks! Papa cannot read my blog from China. But he knows its up and running. So the Chinese government must be afraid of me. And so they should, because I am speaking the truth. I may be little, but my voice rings loud and clear (ask Mummy!). Oh well...
I said that we got wet, when we went walking with Opa Hasso, but I am not sure I made myself perfectly clear: we were soaked! Papa was going to take an umbrella, but he could not find a small one. He didn't feel like taking a huge purple Yahoo! umbrella (Mummy and Papa have lots of those), so we left without. All was fine for 40 minutes or so. But then just after Papa had explained to Mummy how the big dark could where heading straight towards us it started raining and we all tried to seek refuge under a tree. Only the tree had other plans. It let most of the rain straight through. So Mummy had to phone Aunt Tory to come and pick us up and bring dry clothes. Well, at least thats what I was told, because I slept through the whole episode.
This weekend I met Opa Hasso. He came to stay for a few days. We went walking and got very wet. We also went to the pub twice and Hasso helped Papa clean up some stuff in the garden today. Then they took me to a tip to get rid of the waste. Afterwards, we had an icecream at the coast, sort of, in Chatham. Don't go there.
Opa Hasso was also very good at feeding me and walking around int he garden with me when I was crying. So I cried a lot.
Great News! You can now get me on your mobile phone. Just click here and you can buy this nice wallpaper. It will be sent directly to your phone. Don't worry about choosing the right phone model, just pick any one.
Well, it really looks like the cats are not afraid of me anymore. Jenkins now sits on the bed, even though I am waving my arms about trying to shoo her off. Now she also has started sitting on Mummy's or Papa's lap, even when its clear that they are busy holding me! Next thing you know, Jenks will be sitting on me.
Yesterday Mummy and Papa were thinking of giving me away for free. After last night they have decided to offer some incentives to whomever adopts me, to speed up the process. Papa was thinking of throwing in his car. It's a nice Jaguar XJ8, top condition. He will put me in the car and drive us to my new parents. Then he can just walk home, no problem. So hurry...
Mummy and Papa want to put me up for adoption. They have had enough of me. I keep them awake all night with my crying and complaints. It now takes me up to 2 hours to go back to sleep at night when I wake up. I eat all day and then cry until I am exhausted. So they have had enough and I am anybody's. Please, someone volunteer to take me on. I am well behaved and very cute. Look:
